Häufler mit einem Zusatzgerät Noctu sind für Formen von Dämmen auf Kartoffel- und Gemüsefeldern bestimmt. Sie können selbständig oder mit einem Zusatzgerät verwendet werden, das Dämme dicht aneinander formt. Häufeln mit einem Zusatzgerät kann nur dann erfolgen, bevor Kartoffeln sprießen, weil später die Dammoberfläche glättende Teile die Pflanzen beschädigen können.
Auf dem ersten Balken des Tragrahmens des Kartoffelhäuflers sind Rümpfe mit Federzinken zum Auflockern des Bodens zwischen den Reihen von Kartoffeln befestigt, auf dem zweiten Balken sind Zinken mit Scharen und die Kartoffelreihen häufelnden Körpern montiert, und hinten auf den Auslegern ist das Zusatzgerät zum endgültigen Formen von Dämmen befestigt, das das Eintauchen von Zinken beschränkt. Die äußersten Arbeitsteile bearbeiten nur die Hälfte der Zwischenreihen, der Häufler mit Teilen in drei Reihen formt also 2 (2-reihige Version) und 4 (4-reihige Version) volle Dämme. Die Breite der bearbeiteten Zwischenreihen kann im Bereich von 62,5 cm bis 75 cm reguliert werden.
